Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 12–8 pm. Note that it does not open on Wednesday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Cuts & Slices at (718) 552-2652; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, cutsandslicesnyc.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 302 reviews, which is a strong result for a pizza restaurant in New York and suggests consistent service.

New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and New York follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Can’t say I’ve ever had a slice of pizza quite like it β€” could barely taste cheese on the sweet chili oxtail, if it was even there! But the meat was rich in flavor that I can’t say I minded at all. Great, courteous service ensures I’ll be back to try more!

I live in Brooklyn and my two friends came from California and we decided to go here and when I tell you it did not disappoint. My friends exact words β€œbuy the pizza and freeze the pizza then ship it to us” πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ The pizza was GOOD! Whoever said it’s not good is lying. The sweet chilli oxtail BOMB…. Everything was GREAT down to the drinks. Malachi was really friendly and very poised under pressure! From someone who’s worked in Corporate pay him what he’s worth. Very respectful, doing more than one task and still interacted with a smile on his face. In this economy and how hard life is it’s rare to find people smiling despite not knowing what they face behind close doors. May God bless me so I can be a blessing to good humans. But I definitely recommend this spot for pizza 10/10

Went out to get pizza and was NOT expecting this! All Caribbean inspired slices that blew my mind. Everything is delicious, from the shrimp Alfredo to the chopped cheese slice to multiple styles of oxtail. You'll devour the entire slice down to the crust, which is soft but tender and crispy, not bone dry like some other spots. Prices might look big but these are big, hearty slices with high quality toppings, one slice is like 2x the volume and more than 2x the flavor of a regular pizza spot. Come with friends so you can split and try everything. Friendly staff as well. I'll definitely be back to try the rest.

I’ve been waiting YEARS to try Slice & Cutsβ€”especially that famous oxtail pizza. After seeing all the viral videos, my expectations were high… and somehow, they still blew past them. I ordered a few different options and sampled everything firstβ€”but let’s be real, the moment I picked up that oxtail slice? Whew. It was over. One bite in and it felt like heaven opened up just for me. Rich, flavorful, perfectly done… I blinked and the whole slice was gone. Hands down, the best pizza I’ve ever had. And on top of that, the customer service? Immaculate. Friendly, fast, and welcoming from start to finish. This place is worth every bit of the hype. I’ll absolutely be back.
